HUNTER THE DANCING FOX
A best selling, true story inspiring readers young and old to pursue their dreams
"We often hear so many stories of people who have abandoned their dreams of doing the things that bring them happiness. This inspiring book shows the importance of staying true to the things you love despite obstacles along the way. A beautifully illustrated and written book for children and their parents alike!"
"Hunter the Dancing Fox is such a wonderful read for children! The artwork is beautiful, and the book addresses themes all children deal with, including self-acceptance and continuing to follow one's dreams, even when those dreams may be non-traditional or when other people might not understand. A beautiful story with an impactful message!"
Like other little foxes, Hunter liked playing with toys, watching cartoons, reading books, coloring and playing with his friends.
He also liked swimming, soccer, baseball, basketball, martial arts, and video games. But he didn’t LOVE doing any of these things.
Until one morning, he saw something that caught his attention. A ballet in which dancers moved and leaped across the stage in colorful costumes.
So, he tried dance. And he LOVED it.
Though he sometimes got made fun of for being the only boy in his class, he kept dancing, studying and rehearsing.
When he grew older he moved to New York and auditioned for broadway…and got his first role.
A fictionalized version of the true story of Hunter Mikles' life, Hunter the Dancing Fox is a playful and beautifully illustrated children’s book
that teaches young readers to do the thing that makes you happy just because you LOVE it!
This book is a great resource for educators and parents who want to explore non-traditional careers and interests,
